Qi-Regulating Herbs     

 

 

tangerine peel (pericarpium citri reticulatae; chen pi)

regulating qi, normalizing the function of the spleen and stomach, eliminating dampness, and resolving phlegm.

immature bitter orange (fructus aurantii immaturus; zhi shi)

relieving stagnation of qi to remove food stagnation and resolving phlegm to relieve feeling of fullness.

aucklandia root (radix aucklandiae; mu xiang)

promoting the flow of qi, coordinating the functions of the spleen and stomach, and relieving pain.

cyperus tuber (rhizoma cyperi; xiang fu)

soothing the liver, regulating the circulation of qi and regulating menstruation to relieve pain.

 

 

magnolia bark (cortex magnoliae officinalis; hou po)

promoting the flow of qi, eliminating dampness, removing food stagnation, and allaying asthma.

macrostem onion (bulbus allii macrostemi; xie bai)

relieving the obstruction of yang-qi to disperse accumulation of pathogen and promoting circulation of qi to remove stagnation.
