About lu rong, I have a question. If I put lu rong in a herbal formula,
may I make a decoction of this formula, even if this formula contain lu
rong?

Or should I take separately lu rong in proper amount, as a powder,
together with the rest of formula decocted.

I got the packages, but with some problems, as I writed you. The
phytosanitary certificate sended by you through fax was unreadable; I
convinced the customers that was a unknown problem with these
certificates, and finally got the herbs.

In few days I will pay to you for the woman; now she is well, in her good
period, I gaved her Long dan xie gan tang to drain the liver heat and she
maked an diarrhea for some days, which I do not treated. Now I give her
Tiang Wan Bu Xin Dan and Rehmannia Six formula to nourish the yin, balance
yhe heart and kidneys and to improve mental condition.

Please pay much attention to her simptoms as I described, to make for her
a good formula. As I told you, the predominance in her case is a Mania and
delirum, a psychosis with schizoaffective problem, with much jealousy,
violence and anger; an important simptom not mentioned by me since now is
that her problem is something corelated with moon phases. For example, the

Concerning the woman patient, I told you that it is a problem with phlegm
in TCM sense, that there is probably a hot phlegm that obstructs in some
measure the orifficies of the consciousness; the woman does not have
effective phlegm, the cough is dry. Sometimes she has some pains in region
of liver or gall blader. Her problem is as I mentioned, a maniacal
psychosis with schizo-affective problems.

Dear Dr. Ming,

I write you to advice me in one case. It is a woman of 63-64 years old, 150-153 cm height, 60-65 kg, which has a mental-emotional problem from about 24 years. The problem started at 19-20 age and runs even now. In early stages of her illness she was diagnosticated with manic-deppresive psychosis, but for about the last 10 years the diagnostic is psychosis with schizo-affective sindrome.

More explicitely, it is a normal woman, kind, works in house, prepares food, etc., for 1- 1.5 -2 months, and then, suddenly, becomes closed, in one day. And then becomes angry, the mind is perturbed, maniffest jealousy and other injuries, the speech becomes ilogical, sometimes she said that see some demons, etc. In other words, becomes ilogical and violent with members of her home. In this stage is sended to hospital sty there for about 1 month and then comes home as a normal womwn for another 1-2 months. And this scenary is for about 42 years—home, hospital, home, hospital and so on.

The elements very strong are an acute jealousy without any reason, the violent temper, ilogical thinking, insomnia, halucinations and incoherent speech for cups of hours with loud voice. Is totaly the opposite concerning her normal period. Another fact is that she has some troubles with heart, slight palpitations, shortness of breath, he breathes very superfficial. Has a pale complexion, a great loss of hair, dry lips, dizziness, slightly reddish tongue body, low blood pressure, painful back with inability and difficulty to stretch or bend the back, stiff and painful loins due to falling or sprain or hars physical work, dull pains of the loins, left kidney area pains, numbness of the four limbs, aversion to cold and cold limbs, hot sense in the soles and palms in the afternoon or night often, like cold drinks, eat much, dribbling urine after urination, frequent daytime urination, strong sexual desire unsatisfied, is at menopause.
