Thanks a lot for the herbal tea.
My father is regularly taking herbal tea, its now 7 days and I
have noticed his stamina level improvement.
First he use to walk only 20 mts and get tired...Now he is able
to walk for 40 to 50 mts at a stretch. I will be ordering for
more 20 days tea tomorrow. One more thing...that I forgot to
mention in my earlier mail, his all 5 fingers on right leg are
not functioning. Is it possible to regain the movement of the
toes?

Subject: Procedure to take herbal tea
Dr Ming,
I received 20 packets of herbal tea,
I am bit confused with the preparation method, we tried it on
first day as follow
1) We took 500ml of Water and added herbal powder (full 1
packet) to it.
2) Boiled it on full fire till 5mins
3) For 25 mins with mild fire.
4) Removed all the water and took it in the morning as first
dose
5) Again the left water was again boiled for 25 mins with mild
fire and taken as second dose.
Is this the right procedure?

As to how to decoct the herbal tea, please check:
We have made 20 even dosage for you. A piece (dosage) a day.
Please decoct a dose per day, twice a day. The concrete steps
are that first, wrapping the dosage in a piece of gauze. put the
herbal powder bag in a jar or a mug with about 500ML water. Soak
this gauze bag for twenty minutes. Heat the water to the boiling
point with strong fire, then make the fire to be mild and decoct
(i.e., simmer) the herbal powder for about 25 minutes. When the
decoction is lukewarm, please take 200ML pure decoction in the
morning. Repeat all these processes in the afternoon and take
another 200ML. Actually, it means that the same dosage (i.e.,
the same powder bag) is used in the morning and in the
afternoon.
During the period of using medicine, please take care the
following things. Have more nutritious foods; have a due
consideration to good rest; take less pungent or fatty foods;
relax the mind; abstain from sexual activities. If you feel the
tea is too much bitter, you could put a little bit sugar into
your tea.

Thanks a lot for your prompt response,
My father is working with a MIG Factory. His work was not of
long hours, but he use to work a lot. His major work was to
enter the CockPit of Aeroplane and look for the defects, i.e.
Maintenance sort of.
He was not melancholic rather he is bit optimistic, but the
point the Neurophysician told that the disease is not cureable
in Medical, he started thinking a lot. But
we (family member) comforted him, In the life time he did not
had any major illness, this is for the first time and the
disease is also bit critical. He has his 2 years left for
Service. Before the disease he use to think about our jobs i.e.
2 to 3 yrs before.
About Food: He use to have a oily food, with chilly etc. Daily
we use to have DAL, RICE, Chapatti (Wheat Flour) and vegetables.
His height is 5 feet 7 inches
(approx 1.7 mts) I am confirming this because in the patient
form I have written 1.6mts. His weight is 67kgs. His favourite
food is Meat(goat) and chicken but we use to have this once or
twice a week. He is very active in work, he use to come from
office and use to take part in the social activities during
festive seasons.
My Father's Father (Grand Father) died of paralysis in 7 days,
My GrandMother also died of paralysis in a month. I have read it
on internet, dontknow its right or wrong. One of the symptons of
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis may be paralysis. By the way 20 to
30 yrs back even though if somebody in our generation had such
type of disease, it might not have been diagonised, as medical
science during that period was not so advanced. Currently we are
not aware about the reason except this.
Living Condition: The climate here is moderate, bit extreme,
during winter the temerature varies from 17 deg to 25 deg.
Summer is bit hot here the temp varies from 24 deg to 38 deg.
Mansoon is good enough i.e moderate.

I have submitted the Patient Form today, I have also included
the impressions of MRI scans, also EMG report and all
Pathological test. As mentioned earlier my father is suffering
from Motor Neurone Disorder (Amyotrophic Lateral sclerosis). The
disease is in the initial stage, he can only walk for 15 mts, I
donnot want him to come to bed. So please let us know if this
can be prevented. Secondly alos let us know if allopathy
medicines are to be continued. He is currently taking Coenzyme
Q10 and will be taking Riluzole. [The good thing in india is
that Riluzole here is free of cost]. Please Advice

Subject: Help Needed
Doctor,
It has been understood that my father has a symptoms of Motor
Neuron disease. His right leg is affected and he is facing
difficulty in walking. He don't has other symptoms apart from
leg. He don't have breathing problem etc. He is suffering since
11 months. We met Neurophysician in India and he suspected of
having this disease. I am really worried about him. As from the
site it is known that there is no cure for this disease. The
doctor gave us knowledge of physio theraphy and Gene theraphy.
But it feels that here in india it is not possible. Can you
please assist if there is any cure in TCM. If yes, please give
us the information
We have done his MRI scan of cervical (c1 to c6) and L1 to L6
there was little compression.
We have also done lumbar puncher test but no problem with that.
Age 58 yrs.
